April is Autism Awareness Month!!
For me personally it's always Autism Awareness Month
If someone ask me a question or ask for help I do my best
to get the answers or point them in the direction they can get help. I
figure the more people who know about Autism the better.
A lot of people have never had to deal with Autism.
For me it's personal and will always be personal. Autism for most is not a
fun thing to deal with. We didn't ask for it or want it by any means.
Justin has it and we deal with it.
He learned to talk and can do many things. It took
him a while. I would like to say to those parents with a child with
Autism. Don't give up. Never give up. It is possible that your
child do the things that you dream for them and that they dream themselves. Justin went from no eye
contact to learning very quickly. He is very smart. Although, he
still has a little issue with correct social behavior he does well. We
will continue to learn more each day.

All children with Autism and related disorders on the
spectrum needs our support. Whether it be raising money for Autism,
getting a support team together for parents, or advocating for a child with
Autism.
Autism is now 1 in every 130. Last year is 1 in every
150. Even in today there is
so many questions about Autism that experts have no clue about. It totally
amazes me that there aren't more programs that help support children and parents
of Autism. Autism is so misunderstand.
There needs to be more Teachers educated on Autism.
There needs to be FREE training for Parents to help them learn about Autism as
well. Most people have no clue about Autism. They have no idea what
it will take when they are given the diagnosis of Autism. It is hard work
and it's a 24 hour a day process. The child diagnosed with Autism most
likely will need extra attention. Every child and case are different.
One of the ladies from my Autism Support Group made everyone these tags.
We loved it and we definitely appreciated it very much.
Thanks.

I would just like to add thanks to parents and others I believe there has been
more Autism Awareness this year. I would also like to add that it is about
time that the public is more aware of Autism and related disorders.
